The Namibian Youth Chamber of Environment (NYCE) in collaboration with the Namibian Chamber of Environment (NCE) calls on all Namibians to participate in the National Environmental and Socio-economic Survey. This initiative aims to capture public perceptions of the country’s most urgent environmental and socio-economic issues, and to understand how individuals across various regions, sectors and age groups prioritise these challenges.
By meeting the objectives below, the goal is to ensure that public opinion is part of shaping evidence-based policies, targeted funding, public dialogue and community-driven responses to national development processes.
- Measure public understanding, prioritisation and awareness of environmental and socio-economic challenges in Namibia.
- Provide insights that will guide government policy, budgeting and planning that are widely publicised.
- Measure public confidence in government institutions to address environmental and socio-economic challenges in Namibia.

The survey will run from November 2025 to January 2026. Have your say on the big issues facing Namibia today. Click on this link to participate or scan the QR code above. NYCE surveyors will be covering the country to reach people with limited access to the Internet.
